Beyond the sunset

Not so very long ago I got a change to photograph Aiden in one of his favorite places.
It was already late in the evening and it was getting dark. so the pics are a bit grainy...  but I do want to share the so.... here we go

Nightime church ruin shoot with Aiden

A week ago I visited the church ruins in Ammerzoden, with a close BJD friend of mine.
We went at night as the lace it just magical at nighttime.
And since it was a church and we were on holy ground I took my angel boy Aiden along with me to shoot some pics of him.

There are two of the most beautiful ones I shot

My Demon Hunting Angel boy. I just LOVE the look he has in his eyes. So serious and intense. Telling you that he will kick any demon ass back to where it came from, no exceptions. A real Badass look, IEP! Normaly he is such a sweet boy, but not when he is on the hunt. And I am so glad I finally get to show that!!!

And just and absolute cute shot, I just adore the confidence he shows, but still is that kind and sweet boy.

I know. I should be really ashamed, and trust me that I am!

Secret Sinterklaas BJD swap

There is a first time for everything they say. And I do believe there is. This was my first time entering in a BJD Swap. For the people who don't know what a swap is. It is something similar to a secret santa. You get a the info from one of the other people who also is in the swap with the name of a doll and the things the doll likes and what not. Than you have to make something for this doll and send it to the owner of the doll.
So I got the info of a doll from another owner and I made some really cool things for the doll and send them to her. And in return someone else send me some presents from another doll owner.

Yesterday the mailman brought me the present, and I could not wait to see what was in them. Neigther could Aiden as he was the doll I entered in t he swap. I took him out as soon as I pulled the presents from the envelope.

My Doll Family

I have been wanting to do a group shoot with all my dolls for quite some time now, since over the years many has changed in the doll family, and my last group shoot has been way to long ago. ( changes: think other dolls, new looks etc.)
I had this set up idea for quite some time, but was afraid I was not able to pull it off.
Well, I was wrong. For most of the part that is. Since Liza was a bit to small to really pull off the idea  I had. I wanted her to kind of hang on the guys shoulders with her arms. But even though I could not really make it the way I wanted to, it turned out just perfect. Never thought I would be able to make my guys carry the little girls the way they did. Gently and tender <3<3<3

Loneliness can be killing

I took some pictures of my sweet and pretty Aiden.
But I noticed something was wrong during the shoot.
He seemed so sad....
I figured begin appart from his twin sister and best friend Ally must have broke him up.

The New Aiden

Last week the mailman brought me back my two little men.
Both Patch and Aiden have been away for a bit to get a new face-up made by Amaranthe-Arts.
They both are so pretty now. And ofcourse I need to show them of a bit!

First up is Aiden.

And I probably am going to anoy the crap out of you by saying this.

You are just going to have to wait.

Patch is currently waiting for his new oufit. And when I do a shoot of his new look, I want it to be the complete new look. face-up and clothing all together! :D

A new face-up.... Bye Bye white stuff

I tried to get rid of the ugly white stuff that has somehow created itself over a course of a couple of days on Aiden's mouth and around his piercing.
I thought that mabye if I removed the piercing and re-aplied some pastel color I could fix things up.
God was I wrong.
By removing the piercing I F##^% things up even more.
So I had to do a total new face-up.
And to be honest, I am glad I did.
He looks amazing now.
No more strange white stuff anymore and I think this face-up look just that bit better that the one before.

Aiden is here!!!!!

The mailmal came by my house today to bring me Aiden's head.
So I grabbed Patch right away to tear of his head and replace it with Aiden's.
And since they are brothers, they will just have to agree with me ;)
Yes they share a body for a while... until I have the money to buy one for Aiden.
It was then I found out that Patch and Aiden are two differen colors resin.
Aiden is more pink that Patch who is more yellow.
And also... Aiden's head is a size smaller that Patch's.
Which meant the wig I had in mind for Aiden was way to big... and I needed to perform a wig switch between the brothers.
A whole afternoon with pastels  and MSC and I did my very first male face-up was done.

Found a new project

I have been wanting to buy a new Ball jointed doll for quite some time now.
But these dolls are just so expensive.
At least the ones I had in mind are everything but cheap.
So I went and found a solution.
My wish was to have another male SD (60cm) doll.
And it was then that I came across this beautifull leekeworld head.
And since Patch is also from Leekeworld doll and made from the same color resin that the head I found was.....The choice I would be making was very clear.
I am about to by a second head for one body.
Okay... so I will not be able to make pictures of both the guys quite yet... but I am keeping eyes open for a secondhand body I can buy.
But for now I am very happy I am getting this new head.
Now I can finaly let loose the plan I had for this second doll.
I can not wait fro it to arrive.
