As some of you know I recently reshelled Patch from my leeke Romeo to my Dream of doll Code 2.
Now I hear you think.... This doll is not a code 2 mold.
True! Yo are right.
After some time I knew the code 2 was not meant to stay Patch. He was meant to be a temporary shell for one of my most precious characters.
He was meant to be Patch until found the right mold for his character.
And about a week ago I found Patch in an unexpected corner. I found him in the mold I had used until then for my character Luca.
He has that playfulness and that arrogance that the character has.
He is just perfect for Patch. And I am so happy to know my search is finally done.

The story behind the picture:
OMG, Patch his new wig arrived yesterday!
I can hear you think. Wait... isn't that the same wig he always wears.
Yes, you are so right.
Why did I get him a new one when he already had one? AND WHY DOES HE LOOK SO DIFFERENT????
I recently reshelled Patch from a leekeworld romeo to a dream of doll code 2 after a buttload of months of bonding issues with the leeke romeo head.
No, it was not an easy choice for me to make as the leeke romeo mold was my oldest doll and had been with me for over 5 years. But I had to make it, for the sake of my bonding with the character.
With that reshell came the change from an sd 9-10 inch head to a sd 7-8 inch head.
Which made the wig I already had two sizes to big for his new shell.
And thus I had to buy him the same wig, just a little smaller.
That wig arrived yesterday and after some styling and struggling with his signature headband I fell in love all over again with this man.
I just love the way his big ears are poking through  and that it's flows so nicely around his face.

But now I have this whole new amazing spot in my room specially for photography... I just had to make some photo's of this beauty.

The story behind the picture:

It has been a while since I have been able to put these two together. Reason? Cade did not have a body. I used to have him on my 60 cm mirodoll body but that just was to small for him. And for my birthday Some really awesome people have me the 68 cm Mirodoll body. This finally creates the height difference I had always imagined there to be between the two of them. (although you can not really see it in this pic XD) And now.... They are flipping perfect!

 P.s. Can I say that I love way Patch is leaning in against Cade.....

Brothers

In my last post I told you about how I was lucky enough to get a Leekeworld Kyou and I also told you this new boy was in fact Patch his twin brother. And now that I own both men... I thought it was about time I made a pic of these two brother.

I am not so happy with the fact that in this pic you can not see just how much they do look alike. Which will change when Cameron own wig come in, so for now, this'll do.

Like Owner, Like doll

It was not so very long ago was thinking about how my dolls actually look like me in some way. Every doll has something of myself put into the, Some a little more that others, but all h ave something. whether it is in character or appearance.
Right there and then I though it would be awesome to show you how some of my dolls look like me and that is how this idea came to live. And now that Strider got the Tattoo I wanted him to have I could not resist shooting this.
Both Patch and Strider have sunglasses that are miniature versions of my own, and both of them also have tattoo's on the same lower arm that I have. And let's not forget my addiction to bracelets is also clearly visible on all three wrists. (It was never my intention to, it just happened.)

I've been given back my wings

Since I made 2 sets of wings last week. ( one for Aiden and one for Patch )
I thought my little rebel of a fallen angels could show you how happy he is to have his wings back.

My Cuddly Side

I was roaming though my HUGE pile of stuffed animals today and it is there that I came across a bunch of Irish Molly sheeps with the cutest little shirt on.
You could littlerly hear my light go on with the though of a new shoot with Patch.
My though buy with stuffed sheep. He was not to happy with the idea, but after some pushing and some puppy eyes from my side he posed.
And this is what came out.

I picked up Patch his new shirts today.
One of these new shirts is see through.... really seee through.
And that gave me an idea for a shoot, specially for all the ladies out there.
