Holiday time

Hi everyone!

Here's a heads up for all of you.
For the next two weeks there is going to be a lack of activity on my blog here.
The reason is, that I am enjoying a summer holiday with The male in beautiful France.
I will be back around the 10th if September and I promise to bring load of awesome pictures.

The story behind the picture: This is probably my first long photostory. I have done short ones before, but never one on this scale so please forgive me if there are a few flaws in there somewhere. And I have to admit that I had a loooot of help from Vejitadmc Without her this would have never happened. This story show you the very first time Bentley and Bailey meet. Text are taken from the rp that Vejitadmc are having. I hope you all like it.

The story behind the picture:
I was so sad when I discovered that Dunstan had a chip on his lip. Last Sunday I visited a crea meet and brought him along so I could work on his new outfit. I never really had the time to work on it because we were to busy having fun and chatting, but that was the day that I discovered the chips on his upper lip. I tried fixing it, but no matter what I tried I still was able to see the chip and it was a thorn in my eye. So i removed the old face-up and gave him a whole new one.

This picture was taken last saturday at the Crea meet @ dragonwings. There really was not a lot of crea going on as we were way to busy with chatting and laughing. And ofcourse not meet is complete without a group picture. My little Quinn surely was happy he could join his very first group picture.

This is the second time I had the pleasure of doing his face-up.
So if you think you are seeing double, that is partially true. This face-up is different from the other one although they are very similar. And I also did the piercings and lashes on his face-up as well so I thought I'dd share it even though they are alike,they really aren't

The story behind the picture:
The people who have been paying attention have noticed that my Bentley recently was given a new face-up. And now he is popping up again with a new face-up. I had some very good reasons for doing so.
First of all, the last face-up he was given had so many little faults in them and it irritated me to no end knowing they were there. even if they did not show up on a picture or could be noticed by someone who wouldn't know they were there.
Besided that, his lips were Waaaaaaaaay to red for my taste. I know Bentley is a chara that needs his cutie red lips, but neon and was something I just could not get used to. Yes they really were neon red to me. Especially when you photographed him. All this together caused a massive dislike in him and he has been locked up in a drawer ever since. Which ofcourse is such a shame, he is just so cute. So last week I got so fed up with that face-up I decided that it was time to give him one that I was going to be proud about. And I can honestly say. I am proud of this face-up. And my love for his cutie face is back. CUTIIEEEEEEEE

The story behind the picture:
Never would I have thought I would be able to make such lovely pictures of these two at my hotel.
The hotel I slept in while me and my store were at Castlefest this year was situated at the gates of the Bird park Avifauna in the Netherlands. This I already knew when we drive up to the hotel, but I didn't know that we would have free entry to the park with out hotel key. So after dinner me, the male and close friend Ra Silverstorm went for a round in the park. That is when we saw this little castle bridge thingy. Me and fellow dollowner Ra Silverstorm both chimed it would be perfect for doll pictures but we passed it and went on our way to watch some awesome birds.
But when we came back and sat on the porch with a cold drink  the urge to make pictures was just to big. So we ran right up to our room. Yes, ran. No lie. and Grabbed these two beauties for some pictures. It was a bit of a challenge as the sun was setting, but I am so very pleased with how they turned out anyways. I love how these two dolls fit together so well. And I love how Kai is the smaller one of the two.

The story behind the picture:
A little while ago a BJD friend opened up a split GO. I had been really sad when I found out I was to late to join the GO because all the split slots had been taken. But just before the order one of the slots became available again. The slot for a Luts Delf Claus head. The thought of joining was exhilarating. but for some reason I talked myself out of it. Something with a lack of funds, something I know every doll owner knows about, right? I was pleased with my decision and had almost forgot about it when my best friend said to me that a head had become available. I said to her that I knew bit didn't have the funds.
That was when she asked me.
"Do you want to make twins with me?"

And I was sold.

She was already in the Split go and was written down for the exact same head than the one still available. So I pmmed the Go leader and said I wanted the head. Funny thing is. I didn't pay for him. I traded him. Which also solved my problem with the lack of money. I did have to part with some amazing items I owner, but it was so worth it. He is so beautiful.
I have absolutely no regrets in getting him. He will get the surfer-dude look,which is kinda visible in the pic already but not completely.
He is also part of a twin, but more on the twin part in my  next blog post tomorrow.
Felan is the second Werewolf Chara I have ever owned. It just felt like to most natural thing for me to make him a were. Even before I could hold him in my hands I knew that he was a were in heart and soul.
He just screams... RAWWRRRR hihihi

Little fun fact.
He is Alpha of his own pack and my other wolf boy Frey is his best friend and second in command.

The story behind the picture:

My big mystery man. I have kept this one a secret from many I know except a couple of people close to me.

I bought this head at Dolliverse a couple of weeks ago and to be honest, I had to do a lot of imagining with this head,  because without a face-up this head is absolutely hideous. The first time I saw this head sitting on the table and picked it up I had hoped to find Zane, one of my OC's in this head. But I quickly put it down as it was absolutely horrendous looking. But every time I passed that table and saw that  head sitting there I had to pick it up and look at it. In some way I was drawn to this head. And every time I put it back down, feeling the same disgust when I saw it's features.  

Now comes the weird part.

Yes I bought it any ways, even when the little angel on my shoulder told me it might not be such a good idea. But when I googled his mold and saw the potential it had by looking at other owner pics I knew this one had to be mine. But doubt still got the better of me and it was only when me and my friend were on out way back to the car that I decided I could not leave it behind. I ran back and bought it. Knowing that this head was going to test  my face-up skills in a very big way. But I was ready for that challenge. I was in love with the potential in this head. 

It took me some time and a little help from my best friend to put his look together and when that was all said and done I started his face-up which turned out to be easier that I had imagined it to be
