A decision made

Not very long ago I posted that I was in a major doubt about about which character I should make of  the new head I was about to order.

Wellllllll. In the time that had passed since I have order the doll, so I am absolutely over the moon and extremely excited about that. And I can't wait for him to get home.
But most importantly. I actually made up my mind as to who he is going to be
I must say I had a shitload of help from my closest BJD friends, and I believe they actually thought of me as a nag because I doubted so much and needed their help. (THNX! Ladies ;) Love you!) But finally I made my choice.
His name?
Matt Dragica.
His profile is still a work in progress, but it'll come... very soon.

I am so happy I now know who he is, now I can actually start making him some clothes and stuff like that.

My god......
Choosing a character for a doll has never been so hard.
But before I go all nuts on you about chara's Let's start at the beginning.

I am a HUUUUUUUUGE Leekeworld fan, which is kind of bad for me because they stopped producing dolls all together. I am lucky that I have three beautiful Leeke boys at home. And then came the news, Winter event at leeke. And only for this winter event all dolls would be available for order just for a limited time. Ofcourse I could not let this chance pass. So I choose this beautiful head that I want to order. The Leekeworld Xion.

And then came the hard part. Choosing a character to go with the head.
I first started off thinking I could make him Kaleb. Then came the thought.. But what about Kai. He could be Kai too.
But But But, Bentley is so alone, why not make his best bud Matt out of him.
So many chara's that I would love to own.... Sigh
And now I am torn. I have no idea which chara I want most. Which chara would fit the mold best?
I have no Idea and I am totally lost. Sometimes the life of an owner can be so hard.
If only I could make up my mind.
Let's hope and pray I will be able to do so soon.

Today I gave Cade a hot glue treatment to stop him from kicking the hell out of me. And he is so lovely now. No more kicking and falling and what not. So I thought, let's do some pics.

Like Owner, Like doll

It was not so very long ago was thinking about how my dolls actually look like me in some way. Every doll has something of myself put into the, Some a little more that others, but all h ave something. whether it is in character or appearance.
Right there and then I though it would be awesome to show you how some of my dolls look like me and that is how this idea came to live. And now that Strider got the Tattoo I wanted him to have I could not resist shooting this.
Both Patch and Strider have sunglasses that are miniature versions of my own, and both of them also have tattoo's on the same lower arm that I have. And let's not forget my addiction to bracelets is also clearly visible on all three wrists. (It was never my intention to, it just happened.)

Nightime church ruin shoot with Aiden

A week ago I visited the church ruins in Ammerzoden, with a close BJD friend of mine.
We went at night as the lace it just magical at nighttime.
And since it was a church and we were on holy ground I took my angel boy Aiden along with me to shoot some pics of him.

My Demon Hunting Angel boy. I just LOVE the look he has in his eyes. So serious and intense. Telling you that he will kick any demon ass back to where it came from, no exceptions. A real Badass look, IEP! Normaly he is such a sweet boy, but not when he is on the hunt. And I am so glad I finally get to show that!!!

And just and absolute cute shot, I just adore the confidence he shows, but still is that kind and sweet boy.

Stars

Over the last week I have been working hard on making Bentley a new shirt out of this beautiful starry blue fabric I got for my birthday. And since me and my sewing machine are absolutely enemies, making this was all done by hand.
I also ripped off a print that was sitting on a white shirt I bought second hand. The shirt's print was already falling off and looked horrible so I decided to rip it off and put on a whole new print. One that would fit Bentley's character better and would fit the starry shirt as well.
And I am so happy with how it turned out. It was so worth all the days of hard work. And... most importantly, Bentley looks great in it.
Although he was feeling utterly uncomfortable and shy when I was taking the pictures of him in his new shirt.

Today I made a dress for Phyllis. After crocheting a dress for Purdy I just had to make one for Phyllis to.
This one is quite different than the one made for Purdy as this one has an asymmetrical skirt and an off-the-shoulder band.

After I have made already so many things with my crochet hooks I was wondering if it would be possible for me to make a dress aswel. So I set to work.
And this is what I made.

I am thinking about making a video tutoral vor BJD simple pattern making. But I am not sure what people like most, photo tutorials of video tutorials. Dilema!
Maybe you can help me out.
