Isolde wanted Kai to come and have a walk with her through the little castle @ avifauna , Alpen aan de rijn in the Netherlands. But Kai seems to have a totally different plan.

The story behind the picture:
Never would I have thought I would be able to make such lovely pictures of these two at my hotel.
The hotel I slept in while me and my store were at Castlefest this year was situated at the gates of the Bird park Avifauna in the Netherlands. This I already knew when we drive up to the hotel, but I didn't know that we would have free entry to the park with out hotel key. So after dinner me, the male and close friend Ra Silverstorm went for a round in the park. That is when we saw this little castle bridge thingy. Me and fellow dollowner Ra Silverstorm both chimed it would be perfect for doll pictures but we passed it and went on our way to watch some awesome birds.
But when we came back and sat on the porch with a cold drink  the urge to make pictures was just to big. So we ran right up to our room. Yes, ran. No lie. and Grabbed these two beauties for some pictures. It was a bit of a challenge as the sun was setting, but I am so very pleased with how they turned out anyways. I love how these two dolls fit together so well. And I love how Kai is the smaller one of the two.

The story behind the picture:
A little while ago a BJD friend opened up a split GO. I had been really sad when I found out I was to late to join the GO because all the split slots had been taken. But just before the order one of the slots became available again. The slot for a Luts Delf Claus head. The thought of joining was exhilarating. but for some reason I talked myself out of it. Something with a lack of funds, something I know every doll owner knows about, right? I was pleased with my decision and had almost forgot about it when my best friend said to me that a head had become available. I said to her that I knew bit didn't have the funds.
That was when she asked me.
"Do you want to make twins with me?"

And I was sold.

She was already in the Split go and was written down for the exact same head than the one still available. So I pmmed the Go leader and said I wanted the head. Funny thing is. I didn't pay for him. I traded him. Which also solved my problem with the lack of money. I did have to part with some amazing items I owner, but it was so worth it. He is so beautiful.
I have absolutely no regrets in getting him. He will get the surfer-dude look,which is kinda visible in the pic already but not completely.
He is also part of a twin, but more on the twin part in my  next blog post tomorrow.
Felan is the second Werewolf Chara I have ever owned. It just felt like to most natural thing for me to make him a were. Even before I could hold him in my hands I knew that he was a were in heart and soul.
He just screams... RAWWRRRR hihihi

Little fun fact.
He is Alpha of his own pack and my other wolf boy Frey is his best friend and second in command.

The story behind the picture:

My big mystery man. I have kept this one a secret from many I know except a couple of people close to me.

I bought this head at Dolliverse a couple of weeks ago and to be honest, I had to do a lot of imagining with this head,  because without a face-up this head is absolutely hideous. The first time I saw this head sitting on the table and picked it up I had hoped to find Zane, one of my OC's in this head. But I quickly put it down as it was absolutely horrendous looking. But every time I passed that table and saw that  head sitting there I had to pick it up and look at it. In some way I was drawn to this head. And every time I put it back down, feeling the same disgust when I saw it's features.  

Now comes the weird part.

Yes I bought it any ways, even when the little angel on my shoulder told me it might not be such a good idea. But when I googled his mold and saw the potential it had by looking at other owner pics I knew this one had to be mine. But doubt still got the better of me and it was only when me and my friend were on out way back to the car that I decided I could not leave it behind. I ran back and bought it. Knowing that this head was going to test  my face-up skills in a very big way. But I was ready for that challenge. I was in love with the potential in this head. 

It took me some time and a little help from my best friend to put his look together and when that was all said and done I started his face-up which turned out to be easier that I had imagined it to be
